Beautiful rifle. I’ve got no experience with that caliber, but will be curious about all of your load development and accuracy reports from it.

Thank you . Can’t wait to get so insight to other people’s loads for this caliber. Didn’t even pay half of the sticker price to get it

    Wear to start . . . ??
I owned a Weatherby MKV Accumark for quite a few years. It is a thing to behold . . . a 125gr NosBalTip at 4100fps will cut a coyote in half . . . a 220gr SMK's trajectory at 3200fps for 1000yd competition. The chambering is a thing of beauty.
Shoot it one time without the brake. Then put it back on using BLUE LocTite. My guns recoil was like a 165gr coming out a 308Win.
No non Wby brass for this chambering. Back then my brass cost $72. for 20 pieces.
I used my gun for them brave, uppity coyotes that would stand up and bark at me from 600-800yds across a clearcut. Shooting from the hood of my truck using bags, they were pretty much dead as long as I didn't have too much mirage.
When I moved to Fla I established a coyote bait 500yds down my road at the hunting club. From my elevated shooting house with built in shooting bench,I slayed 'em.
My gun had a Leupold 8.5-25X50 scope with target turrets. I carried a cheat sheet with the drops out past 200yds.
    Fun times . . . great gun. --- SAWMAN

they shoot very well. Mine is an older accumark with a 8-32 scope on it. I've have good luck with several different bullets but I've been sticking to 180 Barnes and 200 partitions because I have a bunch to use up. Powder I've used mostly h-1000 but mine don't seem to be picky retumbo works well and several of the new ones I'm starting to experiment with should do well also. Us-869 and imr 8133 may be some to look at.

Wish you guys were closer . . . I would give you my large magnum powders. I have a bunch with more than 3/4 can left. Some powders I have at least half a keg left.
About the "fastest" powder that I ever tried for my gun was H4831. Slowest was H870. --- SAWMAN
